Leicester 1-2 Chelsea: Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez lead Blues to win as Enzo Maresca returns to the Foxes.

Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea side secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring early on, setting the tone for a dominant Chelsea performance.

Leicester fought back strongly towards the end of the first half, with Wilfred Ndidi and Kasey McAteer coming close to equalizing. However, Chelsea’s momentum continued into the second half, and Noni Madueke thought he had doubled the lead, only to see his goal disallowed by VAR.

The VAR decision ignited a tense period, and Chelsea’s defensive resilience was tested when Madueke, along with other Chelsea players, blocked a goal-line clearance to deny Leicester a potential equalizer.

Capitalizing on Leicester’s missed opportunity, Enzo Fernandez sealed the win with a diving header, extending Chelsea’s lead.

Leicester managed to pull one back late on through a Jordan Ayew penalty, but it proved to be too little too late as Chelsea secured all three points.
